Fort Myers Computer Services Company, Entech, Finalist for 2009 Business Ethics Award

06/02/2009

Entech Computer Services, a Fort Myers computer services and consulting company, was selected as one of the top two finalists for the 2009 Uncommon Friends Foundation Business Ethics Award. The award recognizes an organization that exemplifies standards of high ethical behavior in how they conduct their operations daily and during times of crises. The organization must demonstrate a commitment to business ethics at all levels, from line employees to middle and upper management. The organization must also demonstrate a commitment to business ethics in their dealings with customers, vendors, shareholders, regulators, lenders and the community. They must practice good business ethics in their marketing, communications and sales practices; and finally, they must have a reputation within their industry and their communities for a commitment to business ethics.

Entech’s President, Martin Haas, feels there is nothing as simple as “truth and correctness”, and he chooses to operate his business based on the Golden Rule of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Entech’s mission is to blend passion, integrity and technology for the benefit of their clients by resolving computer related challenges with an incomparable quality of service. In addition, they strive to be the ideal workplace for all employees.

Haas states that, “Integrity always wins.” This is evident by the large volume of word of mouth referrals that Entech receives from satisfied customers. It proves that their clients trust them to always solve computer related problems in an ethical, economical and timely fashion. Their insistence on highly ethical business behavior has gained them a favorable reputation in the community, which is reflected in their position as a finalist for the Uncommon Friends Ethics Award.

The company taking home this coveted award also shows a commitment to business ethics in their marketing, communications and sales practices as well as holding a reputation within their industry and communities for a commitment to business ethics.
